The Teenpact Dress Code
Why Do We Have a Dress Code?
In order to uphold a high standard of both modesty and professionalism, we ask all TeenPact students, staff and parents to follow a dress code. We realize that our guidelines are not perfect, however they are an attempt to:
- Honor God by wearing clothing that is respectful of our Christian witness.
- Honor our fellow believers by wearing clothing that is attractive, but modest.
- Honor the professional capitol environment by wearing clothing that is sharp and appropriate.
We recognize that varying standards mixed with different backgrounds and cultures lead to diverse definitions of responsible Christian freedom when it comes to dress. Therefore, we have created a set of guidelines that students adhere to out of respect and courtesy for others.
What to Wear at the Capitol
(Professional Attire)
Ladies, please do wear...
- Professional attire, including a skirt that hits mid-calf and a tasteful blouse.
- Tops with sleeves, meaning a shoulder seam and fabric all the way around it.
- Professional, comfortable, dress shoes. Expect lots of walking!
- Make sure your top is high cut and not clingy, form fitting or too short. Be sure your outfit is not sheer or see through. The solid fabric underneath must meet dress code!
- Make sure any skirt slit does not show the knee or go above it, even when seated.
Ladies, please do not wear...
- Pants, jeans, or shorts of any kind to the capitol.
- Tops that are sleeveless, sheer, tight, short or low cut. Stretch, bend and lean to do a self-check; no skin should be showing and no shape too obvious.
- Skirts that are sheer, tight, short or have above-the-knee slits. Sit down and do a self-check; the hem should cover your knees.

At TeenPact, our goal is to dress with modesty and professionalism in whatever setting we find ourselves in. Here are the guidelines we ask everyone to abide by while at a TeenPact event. Students not abiding by these guidelines will be asked to change.
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
