*Update* Liberty Law School looks forward to TeenPact Judicial. Click Here
2010 marks the thirteenth year of this exciting and challenging program. From the very beginning, TeenPact Judicial (TPJ) has sought to spark awareness and provide deeper insight into the United States Judicial system. In state classes, you’ve walked through the marble halls of the capitol and seen the legislature, but now its time to step into the courtroom with TeenPact Judicial.
This year, TPJ will be held at the prominent Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia. During the week, students will enjoy learning the particulars of legal research and writing, preparing oral arguments for a moot court tournament at the end of the week, and participating in presentations from exhilarating Liberty Law School professors. All of which provides you with an intense hands-on experience that you will never forget.
Our objectives here at TPJ are twofold: First is to aid you in determining if law is the area God has called you into and at the same time allowing you to network with Christian lawyers; Second is to give you the tools necessary to become attorneys as well as giving you a desire to go into the world and make a difference in our nation’s judicial system.
Whether you have a strong desire to be an attorney in the future or are simply interested in knowing more about how our legal system works, TPJ is committed to giving you the initial tools necessary to make a positive impact for Christ in the legal realm. It is our prayer that God will continue to use this program in equipping students for the purpose of preserving godly citizenship and justice in our nation.
Register today because the class size is limited to thirty students. It will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Testimonials:
"My passion is to train a new generation of leaders in the rule of law from a Christian perspective to use law as a fulcrum for good. The students who are trained at TeenPact are energetic, bright, and eager to become world leaders. We want their best and brightest to attend Liberty University and Liberty University School of Law. That is why we are pleased to announce 'The New Generation TeenPact Scholarship' to outstanding graduates of the TeenPact program."
"TeenPact is training the next generation of world leaders in law and government. Having taught at TeenPact Judicial, I can personally endorse this program as the preeminent training experience for aspiring young leaders. One student recently told me that the TeenPact Judicial program was a life-changing experience."
-Dean Mathew Staver, Liberty School of Law
“TeenPact Judicial 2009 was one of the best experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to meet like-minded teens from all over the country as well as learn about law from exceptional Liberty Law School professors. I also gained valuable experience arguing cases in a moot court setting. I would definitely recommend Judicial to anyone who is interested in law or who would like to further their communication skills in a challenging and exciting environment!”
- Joshua Minchin, Student and Staffer
“I really loved the overall experience of going to TeenPact Judicial. I learned a lot about what it takes to be a strong Christian lawyer as well as a strong Christian young person. Judicial also taught me skills that have been really influential in my life right now such as speaking confidently, interacting positively with others, and thinking on my toes. Also, the TeenPact staff were very encouraging and helpful throughout the entire week. I benefited more than I can adequately express from Judicial and plan to attend next year!”
- Shelbie Landry, Student
“TeenPact Judicial has challenged me as well as significantly informed me on the subject of law. Not only did I gain a wealth of information, I have also gained genuine friendships across the country. What a blessing! I am looking forward to next year, and would highly recommend this event to anyone who has an interest in the judicial system.”
