The Dual Enrollment program, part of Belhaven Virtual, offers qualified students the opportunity to earn online college credit while enrolled in high school. To be dually enrolled, an applicant must have a minimum composite score of 21 on the ACT or SAT I combined score of 970 on the critical reading and math tests. The applicant must also provide a high school transcript with at least a 2.0 GPA. Students may take one online studies course per hemester (eight week session), provided that the course does not interfere with their high school curricula.
All course offerings, schedules, tuition, and resource fees are the same for dual enrollment as for the Associate of Arts College Program. To see when the next session begins, please refer to the Belhaven course schedule.

An official ACT or SAT score report. Belhaven’s ACT institutional code is 2180; its SAT code is 1055. Minimum requirement for acceptance is 21 ACT composite or 970 combined critical reading and math SAT score.

A letter of recommendation from your high school guidance counselor or teacher (or your parents if you are homeschooled).
An essay, interview, and letter of recommendation may be submitted voluntarily by the student or may be requested by the admission office if student does not meet minimum requirements for acceptance.
TOEFL for international, non-English speaking candidates (a score of 500 paper-based; 173 computer based; or 61 internet-based)

A resource fee per credit hour is required for the following materials/benefits/services:
Books, course materials, lab supplies, DVDs, shipping and handling (within the continental U.S.).
Library usage - Online periodicals, tutorials, extensive web page, interlibrary loans, and an 800 number for 8+ hours of availability for questions to be answered by Belhaven College librarians.
Student-Intranet availability from any location where there is internet access. Includes Belhaven College e-mail addresses for all students and faculty.
Registrar access- provides view and print capability to course schedule, grades and transcripts from Registrar’s office through IQ Web.

Online course delivery software access for Virtual online classes.
Three degree audits upon request throughout a students program to ensure degree completion plan is on track.
