Camp Information:
We will be staying at the Camp Camby Conference and Retreat Center, 10740 E County Road 700 S, Camby, IN. Camp Camby is approximately 7 miles from the Indianapolis International Airport and 14 miles from the Indiana Statehouse. In gender-segregated facilities, students and parent chaperones stay in rooms with multiple sets of bunk beds. Each room has at least one adult chaperone.
Cost:
We do our best to keep the camp prices as low as possible. The cost for staying at the camp Monday night through Thursday morning (3 nights) for the 4 Day Class is $125. This price includes the following meals: Monday dinner only, Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast and dinner, and Thursday breakfast only. The camp cost is $165 if you are staying through Thursday night for the Friday Public Speaking class (4 nights). If you are staying through the Public Speaking Class, Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast are included. All students are responsible for their own lunches which can be purchased at the Government Center cafeteria.
Parent Chaperones/Drivers:
We need vans to transport the camp students to and from the Statehouse each day. If you have a van/vehicle and are willing to drive our students, please contact Anna Montgomery at indiana@teenpact.com with the number of passengers your van can carry. As the class approaches, she will take the largest capacity vehicles and their corresponding drivers first. Even if we do not need you to drive students, we would still love to have you come and experience the class and camp with us. The camp cost for parents is $105 for three nights or $140 for four.
If you have any questions about camp, chaperoning, or driving, please contact Anna Montgomery at indiana@teenpact.com.
