What to Bring
To the Capitol:
- Your completed homework with your name on each page
- Lunch money or a bag lunch.
There is a cafeteria at LegHall in the basement, it is not fantastic, but it is okay, the usual, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, salads, sandwiches and usually one or two specials a day. A tad expensive for someone on a limited budget. There are also vending machines that have sodas and snacks. In the same area and there is a small microwave near the vending machines that can be used also, but only one of them. Cafeteria is not open on Fridays.
- A Bible, notebook, and pen
- Please review our dress code before attending the class
What NOT to bring:
Any sort of knife or firearm
CD players, iPods, or other form of media player
Parking & Directions
Parking is available in the Delaware Public Archives and Tatnall Building lots.
From Wilmington and Philadelphia:Take I-95S. to Rt. 1 South. Follow Rt. 13/Rt. 1 south to Exit 104 and follow Rt. 13 south approximately 4 miles to Court Street (just after the Rt. 11 3/Rt. 13 split) Turn right on Court Street and follow into downtown Dover, Legislative Mall.
From Baltimore & Washington & Richmond:Take US50/301 through Annapolis & across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Stay on 301 to a right turn onto MD302; follow 302 to a right onto Rt. 454 at Templeville. Rt. 454 becomes Rt. 8 when you cross the Delaware line. Follow Rt.8 into Dover and bear right at Loockerman Street. Follow Loockerman St. to a right turn onto Federal Street and you will be at Legislative Mall.
From New Jersey and North:Take the NJ Turnpike south and cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Follow Rt. 13/Rt. 1 south. Take Exit 104 and then follow Rt. 13 south approximately 4 miles to Court Street (just after the Rt. 113/Rt. 13 split) Turn right on Court Street and follow into downtown Dover, Legislative Mall.
From the Norfolk area:Cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and follow Rt. 13 North approximately 170 miles to Dover. Once in Dover, turn off Rt. 13 (left turn) onto Court Street. Follow Court Street to Legislative Mall (approximately 1/4 mile).

- From the North: from the North or South, off of State Route 1, take the "North Dover Industrial Exit" (#104). After the toll booths, go straight thru four traffic lights (about three miles - 1 is Rt 13, 2 is DelTECH, 3 is College Rd, and 4 is Walker Rd.) Make a left on Walker Road and at the second traffic light (about 1/4 mile) turn left into Silver Lake Plaza complex. The Webb Bldg is the 2nd on the left.
- From the South:
- Route 13 - In Dover, turn left on South State Street. Proceed through Dover (see** below).
- Route 1 and 113 - Take Exit 95 (I-10 and Dover AFB North Gate). At the end of the deceleration ramp, make a left onto Route 10. At the third traffic light, make a right on S. State Street. (see ** below)
**Proceed approximately three miles through Dover to Silver Lake. Make a left onto Walker Road (this is a five way junction). At the next traffic light, make a right into Silver Lake Plaza. The Webb Bldg is 2nd on the left.
Directions to Calvary Assembly of God:

FROM ROUTE 1 SOUTH: after the Dover toll plaza, take exit 97. At the end of a the very long ramp, take a right at the light. Take a right at the next light (South State Street/113A South). Take a left onto Rt. 10 (Lebanon Road). Calvary Assembly of God will be immediately on your left next to Wilmington Trust Bank. FROM ROUTE 13 SOUTH: (North of Camden) At Carroll's Corner Shopping Plaza (Dover Pool), make a left onto South State Street (South on 113A). Take a left onto Rt. 10 (Lebanon Road). Calvary Assembly of God will be immediately on your left between Wilmington Trust Bank & Torberts Funeral Home. FROM ROUTE 8 EAST: Drive into Dover. At Route 13, turn right to Route 13 South. At Carroll's Corner Shopping Plaza (Dover Pool), make a left onto South State Street (South on 113A). Take a left onto Rt. 10 (Lebanon Road). Calvary Assembly of God will be immediately on your left between Wilmington Trust Bank & Torberts Funeral Home. |
Housing Information
Housing is available for four day students.
